Miami may still be looking at Larry Johnson.

I was watching the Fox Pre-Game show, and they went to Jay Glazier who was in Kansas City. He was asked if Larry Johnson and Dick Vermeil have really "kissed and made up" so to speak, after the instance where Vermeil told Johnson that he needed to quit wearing diapers. Glazier said that Kansas City was on the phone looking to move Johnson the day after they supposedly made up. Glazier mentioned Tampa Bay, Miami, and one other team that I cannot remember as teams Carl Peterson has talked to. He did say that Peterson feels no deal is imminent. The interesting thing is this. Glazier said the Chiefs don't want a draft pick for Johnson. They simply want a wide receiver or a linebacker in return.

Think Kansas City would go for Eddie Moore?

I could not see the Chiefs taking E. Moore for L. Johnson. I would love to see it happen.

Larry Johnson is not only overrated and sucks, but he is a Grade A spoiled f'ing a$$hole. Ask any REAL Penn St fan and they'll tell you about his crying their his junior year.

No more new players. We have enough already and look where its gotten us so far. Adding another new player to the system would stimy any development for our offense.

I do not care if he cries & still wets his bed....as long as he can score TD's for Miami...lol ;) (Behind This O-Line....Barry Sanders would look like K.Carter)

Penn State grad here, I think Nub is a student there also. LJ isnt pro material. He put up good numbers in college because he had a great line and they played crap teams. PSU went 9-3 the year he did good, look at the numbers he put up in their losses.... Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan he put up gooseeggs. He got all his yards against the crap teams. I was at every game that year, hes nothing special just like every other RB Penn State has produced in the NFL.

He is a whiner and Vermeil was dead on with his comments. We dont need him, he isnt the answer. Gordon's a rent-a-back for this year before we get someone in the offseason next year.

I saw the same report and I just laughed. I don't think Johnson would improve this offense in anyway shape or form. If KC was willing to give up their O-line for Moore then we'd have a deal!! :D

Looking AT Larry Johnson? Don't you mean FOR Larry Johnson? I think you would need to commission the Hubble telescope or the entire NSA satellite network to figure out where that guy is.

Yep your right. Larry is overrated. He may have had 2000 yards his senior year but he put them up against horrible teams and got shut down by the good teams. Heck, he couldn't even get anything going against Auburn in the Citrus Bowl.

Best RB EVER behind Miami's O-line= 1.2 yards per game and career ending injury before the 6th game.

Ricky did not even need to smoke pot to see that Miami was going to KILL him. The OL was looking worse than last year. So Ricky bailed on everyone for WEED!

I really don't get it. We need O-Lineman of great talent, not another skill player that will not be able to run the ball because there isn't even a crease for these guy's to run through or time to throw the ball. I would like one person to name a team in this league that is even mediocre with a poor o-line and d-line. Football is won in the trenches, always has been and always will be. Anyone who has played football or coached football no this to be true!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gordon's a rent-a-back for this year before we get someone in the offseason next year. That's a pretty expensive rent-a-back, 3rd round draft pick.
