Of all the traits a QB can have in the NFL, the most important is knowing how to survey the field and make good consistent decisions. Brooks has a ton of talent elsewhere, but he makes aweful, aweful decisions!

I'd rather stay w/ Gus if Brooks is the best we can do (and I know it won't be the best we can do!)

I love Aaron brooks fans. They keep their eyes closed all game.

The guy has all the physical tools, but makes the dumbest plays in football. Anyone who has watched a game from the saints knows the guy sucks.

If he is the best option out there....keep Gus in.

Also - and let me preface this by saying I really hope we can upgrade over Gus next season somehow, someway:

-Has it occurred to anyone that we had exactly ZERO pick six TDs this year?? Compare that to the last few seasons, especially last year. Gus is no Marino, but one thing he does do is minimize bonehead mistakes. I think that was apparent during the six-game win streak. Until we can find a better option, and Brooks ISN'T, I'm fine with what Gus brings to the table.

No way in Hell. Trust me guys, you DO NOT want him. I'd take Gus over Aaron Brooks any day.

Brooks is horrible. Stop looking at just his strong arm. Half the time he throws it to the ground or to the defender anyway.

Yeah I don't think we need another veteran quarterback to take over this team. I say if we don't somehow get Culpepper we go quarterback in the draft. From there we let Frerotte continue to win us game. In a year or two we have our quarterback of the future. That's what I want to see.
