I would love to see JJ come back. I absolutely hated the way he handled the Marino situation, and I think his ego kept that team from being very good, but nobody can deny the talent he accumulated in a very short time period. I would love to see him as our GM or even as our coach

The man has been retired for a long time....if ever he wants to come back the time is now.

You know where JJ can shove his 3 rings!...He's a worthless piece of shiite! Like he should be welcomed back.....NOT! Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me.

They should hire Jimmy Johnson as a special assistant because he was very good at evaluating talent.

Yes JJ gets a call from wayne and suggests we give Wanny his old job back!!

I was watching the pre-game show on fox and JJ mentioned that he talked with Wayne last night. It's clear they are friends and liked each other. If JJ has any desire to come back it's something that should be pursued IMO.

no never....he quit......TWICE

It's not such a crazy idea, you know JJ is probably not happy with his legacy with the Dolphins, perhaps he might want to rewrite it with a better ending.

Don't think it will happen though.

I personally liked Jimmy Johnson as our coach. I think he left us with good talent and great players. Unfortunately, he also left us with Dave Wannstedt. Lets face it, that will spoil most people's view of someone.

However, let us not forget that Jimmy gave us both Thomas AND Taylor...as well as Sam Madison and Pat Surtain. The man could get talent.

Plus, he wouldn't have to get a running back (something he was never able really to do in his first go round) since Ronnie is firmly entrenched here.

It isn't a bad idea, although I doubt it happens.

Enough with these junk posts please. Why not call up the ghost of Vince Lombardi while we are at it!

Under Johnson we made the playoffs 3 out of the 4 years he was here. Also I give him al the credit for Wanny's 11-5 records in 2000 and 01!

I'd slit my wrists.
If JJ came bak,I'd slit your wrist to ! :sidelol: LOL Just kidding my friend, but seriously, I don't want JJ back, especially after the way he and Wanny treated Dan. Dan needed talent around him and should have not beeen basically blamed the way I felt he was.
