Mon, 9 Jun 2008 13:08:41 -0700
Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears RB Cedric Benson was told to go home Monday, June 9, when he arrived at the team's facility for their scheduled organized team activity. Benson was arrested Saturday, June 7, on suspicion of drunk driving, which is his second arrest in five weeks. Bears general manager Jerry Angelo said the team will likely have something to say later Monday, June 9. There is speculation the team will place Benson on waivers. Benson's attorney said he knows the team may release him but hopes they don't.

I c no reason whatsooooooever that we would even THINK about him at all!!!:shakeno:

No for two reasons:

1. He is a head case and thug, not something Parcells will want to add.

2. We are pretty well set at the running back position. In fact, the coaching staff/front office are going to have to make some tough decisions come cut down time.

Too bad he sucks, because Cedric would love Miami judging by this picture. He can't roll like this in Chi-Town.

Even if he is released, where and how much would he play for us? We already have Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams and Bernie errr I mean Jalen Parmele.

Oh! man! I'm sorry, but this has become freakin' ridiculous! .......RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

Ok, let me get this straight, with the likes of Travis Henry & Shaun Alexander you seriously think that if Miami was interested in a RB they would sign Benson. Your hilarious!

I don't usually say this, but I think we should pick him up.

It even pains me to type it.

Benson is NOT any better then Ricky or Ronnie. So why would we sign him??, especially considering the guy is nothing but a pure thug.

I would absolutely take a chance on Benson than both Trqavis and Shaun.

Shaun can't pass a physical or he would have been signed already.

Travis just got dumped for his attitude.

Benson is just an idiot. He is younger and healthy. He would also compliment Ronnie well after Ricky leaves.
