Browns center LeCharles Bentley, who tore a patellar tendon on the third play of an 11-on-11 scrimmage at the first practice of training camp, could undergo a third surgery on his bad knee, which would knock him out for the entire 2007 season.
The condition could also end his career.
A staph infection developed in Bentley's knee after the first surgery, which required in a second surgery and a month-long stay at the Cleveland Clinic.
This is from PFT:
Interesting. A lot of people here wanted him. Its unfortunate that one fluke injury may have ended his career.
EDIT:
My bad, the title should say Bentley, not Bently
