Who do you think is the best quarterback of all time? Do you think Marino or Bob Griese is the best quarterback to ever play the game?

Redo this post in about another 10 years and add manning to the list because when its all said and done, I think he will own every passing record recorded

Hard to beat Montana's results....

A few more years might have Brady's name beside it...

you call yourself a Dolphin fan?

Marino never had the supporting cast Montana had. i.e No thousand yard rushers from 1979-1996. Marino is hands down the best of all time. Opposing defenses knew he was gonna pass and he lit em' up anyway.

I think Brady and Manning deserve to be there. They have not retired, but they deserve their place.
My top 15:

1. Joe Montana
2. Dan Marino
3. John Elway
4. Johny Unitas
5. Frank Tarkenton
6. Peyton Manning
7. Tom Brady
8. Brett Favre
9. Roger Staubach
10. Steve Young
11. Jim Kelly
12. Terri Bradshaw
13. Troy Aikman
14. Bart Starr
15. Otto Graham

First of all you have no right to question my loyalty as a fan just because I shared my honest opinion. I never said "Marino sucked" or any other negative comment regarding his play'. You can argue all you want and make all of the excuses you want on why 'he never won the big one' but it still doesn't change the fact that he didn't achieve the ultimate team success in the NFL. Marino accomplished a lot of great "personal" achievements but not a lot of championships. This was my original point.... try to look beyond the aqua colored glasses when reading other opinions not shared by you.

Pretty good, I think the top three can be in any order. I'm sure if I put my head to it I can think of a few others to add.

Sid Luckman, Len Dawson, Dan Fouts (who would be on my top 10), Warren Moon, Y.A. Tittle, Norm Van Brocklin are a few more.

So Finsgone wild, I think thats about 21 so far on my list.

I'm a big Griese fan, and yes he is an all-pro, but you can name many better.

Ranking them.

Johnny U first, Namath second, Montana Third, Griese fourth. I'd put Marino in the top 10, but closer to the bottom. Marino's self confessed weakness to selling the run is what drops him.

I can't believe Favre is not in the poll.

I'm a big Greise fan, but to say who is the best all time???

He is down on the list.

I agree... while Bob never posted gaudy numbers, he was a cerebral player that could figure out a way to win. It also helped to be lucky to have a good supporting cast....

Marino had weaknesses.

If I had all these guys to choose from, I'd only pick Marino if he had a healthy Dwight Stephenson in front of him.
