Brock Berlin

I am sure alot of you watched Brock Berlin played last Mon night vs Chicago. His passing look soo good before int in end zone.

Berlin will be Fins future start begin next year or 2 years later.

His nickname The Berlin Wall how about that??

Yikes..with Gus still on the team...never utter that word...

wall.

i dunno about starter... but he will make this team one year, probably next as third string.

Don't bet against Brock Berlin

Heres something the Berlin lovers (Kinda including me) could drool over....

Brock Berlin is short on chances and long on odds.

How strange to say that about a phenom, about a kid the folks in his hometown of Shreveport, La., said was born to play football. Don't these things just go in some kind of orderly progression when you're christened a prodigy?

High school star? Check. Highly recruited college player and starting quarterback at major university? Check. NFL quarterback?

Stop! Rewind.

I see potential in Berlin but I can't quite picture him as a future AT THIS POINT....that is not at all ruling him out.

I think he watched too many Fiedler, Feeley tapes from last year. He was confused and thought that was his job to throw the INT

great read... i'm also a fan of Brock's.

I'd like to see him get the #3 spot... as the article states we have nothing to lose, Saban loves the kid, and he has a huge upside.

that's a tad harsh...

he impressed on monday night... it was nice to see a QB in aqua that actually had control and command of his offense. But he is a rookie, that was his first pro game and he has been chastised for one poor decision, yet last year everyone was giving AJ chances left, right and centre despite his poor decision making.

Totally agree. I thought the kid looked great for his first pro game. He forced a ba throw. Had he put it in the backof the end zone it would have been six, as his man was open. I started a thread saying he'd beat Sage out. I still believe that.

It wasn't all his fault. Ok, it was, but it was also a bad play call. They pretty much ran the same route twice, once the defense opened up, the second time they didn't. It's kind of like the Fielder int. in the Texans game 2003, it was Fiedler's fault but it was still a stupid play call in the first place.

I don't think he'll be gone in the first set of cuts. I'm not sure if he'll win the number 3 job, but he seems to be a legitimate PS project.

when he was driving on the bears my friend is a Miami U fan and he was like how come i never saw this from him before

I have watched him play frequently while he was at UM and have enjoyed watching him...His dedication to his roll as QB is impressive, and I have the feeling that with the proper guidence he has the tools to make it in the NFL.....and I hope it is with the Dolphins.....

Sadly enough, Berlin might not get that chance to be #3.:(

But if he keeps on playing the way he did in the HOF game (barring an interception), then he earn his stay on the Practice Squad.:)
