Merged: Chambers Haters

im not a chambers hater. Im a realist. he was better today, but he cant get on the same page with gus, did you notice that? he cant read a blitz for a crap. CC still needs work, but he came through when needed. Last week, he did not.

Who's a Chambers hater? Just because people say he hasn't lived up to his potential, they're a hater? He had a good game but nothing like Steve Smith's game.

He had a good day today...

That being said, his blitz reads were off, he disappeared for 2 quarters, had a drop and ran the wrong route on Gus' interception in the end zone.

HE still dropped passes that lesser WRs make every week. He is not consistant. Until he is, he will always be considered an underacheiver.

Good points. Again, he had a great catch, which is the hallmark of his game, but he continues to struggle with the finer points of the game.

ya know, this goes with him never having a 1000 yard season. He still hasn't had a 100yd game this season. It's a harsh judgement i suppose, but after 5 years he's lost his rookie excuses long ago.

Chambers is a HUGE reason we won this game today. Steve Smith dropped passes today also. You have to realize that Chambers really has never had to read the blitz before because we never used to have hot routes.

Chris had a great game. Good Job.

Apologize. 6 catches, 93 yds, 1 TD.

ummm... 1 unreal TD that catch was the phashizle baby!!!:rofl3:

I am a huge Chambers fan but i wish he would play with a little more intensity ala SteveSmith

We all know Chambers can make some insane circus freak catches, nobody disputes that. It's what he does on normal passes that should be easy catches... he still needs to step up his focus and get it done on every down.

Certainly an improvement this week though, good job Chambers!

Yes he has lost that excuse. I think it's time everyone except Chambers for what he is: A GOOD, not GREAT, WR.

Those drops are at critical times.....inconsistent play.....yes he had a decent game today, but he needs to improve
