MERGED: Cheaters gonna cheat

Looks like the Pats counted on cheating the Dolphins and Bills because our dumb coaches wouldn't change the signals up.

So we were not a very sophisticated team... But we had Ricky Wiliams and he was the game plan...lol

Love that this came out...the only ones who dismiss this are pats fans....

Oh and they are out in full force. Read some of the comments on the PFT story. They're as smug and arrogant as ever... and the reason for that is because Goodell let them get away with it to begin with. If the proper punishments were handed out after Spygate and a congressional investigation was allowed to commence, the Patriots wouldn't exist in their current form because Kraft would've been forced to sell the franchise and Belichick would be banned from football. Even more reason to hate that scumbag Goodell... all of this was of his making.

Ashley Madison's new slogan. Life is short...cheat like a Patriot.

Kraft spear heads Goodell's hiring in 2006. One year later Spygate happens. Goodell buries it for his buddy and tells him to cut the crap. Pats keep doing the same crap. Goodell does nothing. Pats get caught. Goodell hammers them and still look like a fool in the end.

Two unsavory organizations.

The reason I like it....to me it proves that Patriots didn't always win fairly. The paragraphs below shows that they dominated the Phins because we weren't a "sophisticated" team.

But the Patriots kept doing it. In November 2006, Green Bay Packers security officials caught Matt Estrella shooting unauthorized footage at Lambeau Field. When asked what he was doing, according to notes from the Senate investigation of Spygate that had not previously been disclosed, Estrella said he was with Kraft Productions and was taping panoramic shots of the stadium. He was removed by Packers security. That same year, according to former Colts GM Bill Polian, who served for years on the competition committee and is now an analyst for ESPN, several teams complained that the Patriots had videotaped signals of their coaches. And so the Patriots -- and the rest of the NFL -- were warned again, in writing, before the 2007 season, sources say.

Looking back on it, several former Patriots coaches insist that spying helped them most against less sophisticated teams -- the Dolphins and Bills chief among them -- whose coaches didn't bother changing their signals. Even when they had the perfect play teed up, sometimes the system would fail, owing to human error. Several opposing coaches now say they wish they had messed with Belichick's head the way he had messed with theirs. You want to tape signals? Fine. We'll have three guys signaling plays and disguise it so much that Ernie Adams has to waste an entire day trying to decode them, then change them all when we play.

Good men have done nothing gentlemen.

Don Shula was right.

“Beli-cheat?” Shula says.

I am pretty sure whenever you see unattributed quotes from that era's competition committee that are Patriots related its Don Schula he hates them with a passion but particularly Belicheat he goes out of his way to put them on blast. The OTL article says that year in year out how teams constantly complaining about the Patriots to the committee but the NFL just never investigated and when they did it was always a half hearted effort and when everything was about to blowup they covered it up

The Patriots keep cheating and NOTHING is done about it. So if they are going to do this, we should pull out all the stops when we play them. Bug their locker room, kick Brady in the nads when he is under the pile. F it......cheating seems to be rewarded.
