Merged: Cobbs gets two more years

Interesting.....Now what about Parmele and Whats-his-face on the practice squad? Ricky on his way out? One or both of them? I can imagine hanging onto two HBs on the PS with three solid RBs on the active roster.
 
Good. I dont know why everyone knocks cobbs so much around here. Decent little player. Seems like a winner.
 
Love the guy he takes pride in what he does. He loves to block and is a solid ST and he is always willing to do whatever they have set for him.
 
I've read this comparison somewhere on this board but I think its a perfect resemblance. Someone posted saying that Cobbs is our Kevin Faulk. I really do believe that because Cobbs has done good things here. I like him out of the backfield and am glad to see he got this deal. Who's next...Crowder for an extension??? We will have to stay tuned.

Neither do I. He makes plays when he's asked to and has a ton of heart. Can't really ask for more than that. I don't think it means anything for Ricky though. Nobody's gonna give anything of value for him IMO.

I have to admit I missed on Cobbs.

I really didn't think he would work in this offense because of his size. Little did I know he would turn out to be a force catching the football out of the backfield. Patrick has made the best of his opportunities. He has really been impressive.

Glad I was wrong!

Good for him!

Im really hoping its Vernon Carey but who knows.

Ricky is getting to the end of his career. Parmele will replace him in the future. That's what I think. Cobbs has a lot of heart and he always makes plays when he asked too.
 
I also ignored Cobbs (except for the Texans game), probably because his biggest contributions are on ST. But hey, if this regime thinks he's a special teams ace, all the better!

He does have a great attitude - I like his interviews. In fact, many of the Phins interview really well - you can tell the kind of players this regime likes.
