Sundays game. Quick question

Hello Dolphin fans.
My brother and I are coming down from Canada to check out Orlando and Miami this week. Were plannin on goin to the Dolphins game on sunday and im just wondering what the atmosphere is gonna be like? Fins are still in the playoff race with the road win against Oakland and the Pats losing. So you think the fans will be out in full force? Sell-out? Thanks.

p.s a little of topic but his Universal studios and Disney world still busy busy this time of year? Or a little less crowd?

GO DOLPHINS!

I don't think the fans will be in full force because not too many still believe. The game will sell out before the Thursday deadline though because it is Buffalo.

One more thing, is buying tickets from guys scalping illegal? We were going to get our tickets from ticket master but they ship them 48 hours prior to the event. We will be gone by then so our plan was to go and buy em that way.

I can answer the Orlando question, it shouldnt be that bad. With the holiday last week you should be ok.

What to do on Gameday

Hey guys, I'm making my first trip to Miami and Dolphins Stadium this week, and I have a few questions for you vets. I'm wondering what to do on Sunday. Is there anything at or around the stadium that I should check out? Any bars in the area that are particularly dolphin spirited on Sunday? And is there a particular area or section at the stadium that has some public tailgating? Also, if you want to throw me a bone on some cool bars/restaurant for my parents (late 40's) and I (21) to check out, I'd really appreciate it.

No, I believe it is not illegal as long as they are at or lower than the original price. You will definately get some great tickets for cheap if you get them from people selling, just be careful. They are ALL OVER the stadium game time. They hover around all the cars pulling in to park. Right when you park for tailgaiting you will probably be surrounded by 2 or 3. Best of luck... hope you enjoy the game, but i doubt the fans will be in full force. we are still 4-7. Hopefully the Bills game will bring a few more fans...

i live 5 mins from universal studios, lemme know if theres anything i can help you with. driving directions and so on...send me a pm

You might be able to buy seats thru the Dolphins and have them hold the tickets until you get there. You just pick them up at will call.

Yes buying scalped tickets is illegal, but it's done out in the open, and as long as someone is not trying to gouge the cops overlook it.

Be carefull you dont buy a counterfeit ticket. Look at it really close to make sure its not printed off of a computer. Ticket scalpers are rutheless.

For you , you have Hooters on University/Pines Blvd. , Pines Ale House, Davie Ale House. If you want to go clubbing you have Cafe Iguana's and the Hard Rock Hotel. At the Hard Rock they have many bars and stuff so you and your parents could split up or go to the same one...LMAO If I think of more, I will let you know. I just woke up so I am still not thinking very clearly

There's a bar in Ft. Lauderdale, not too far from the stadium that would perfect for you're parents and you. It has a decent mixed age crowd. It's called The Elbow Room located on the corner of A1A and Las Olas Blvd. If you are able to get away on your own, there's a strip of bars/club you can check out in Ft. Lauderdale too; it's a reknown college hangout. The strip covers about three blocks, all bars/clubs. It's about five miles from the Elbow Room on Las Olas Blvd. too, since you are 21 that's the place you want to be.

How about some places on South Beach that are fun, laid back, and without a velvet rope? I'm really only interested in places I can go to with my parents. They're paying for my entire trip, so I wouldn't feel right about ditching them. Wouldn't be much fun running around down there by myself anyway. Thanks for the advice so far.
