Concussion in Bills game Frerottes first?

On the front page in the Frerotte story (http://www.finheaven.com/news/2858/) says this was his first concussion... didn't he have a concussion in a Redskins game when he head butted the wall? Obviously his head isn't OK yet

this is his first????????

An excerpt from the front page

The concussion is the first for Frerotte, a 12-year veteran. He said if he suffers another one, he'll be held out longer, but he has no hesitation about returning this week.

Didn't he get a concussion after he headbutted the wall?

nah, he jammed his neck i think when he head butted the wall, i remeber watchin that game, i think it was a sunday night game

This quote from Gus worries me: "I've had all kinds of injuries," he said. "You just have to step back in the saddle. I'm going to go out and play like I've always played."

Please dont Gus, how about play like you have never played before, not like you have always played

Just a jammed neck I think. And a very injured ego.

Here they say he had a concussion:

In 1997, Gus Frerotte sidelined himself after performing one of the dumbest touchdown celebrations in NFL history. The Washington Redskins Pro Bowl quarterback head-butted a wall behind the end zone after scoring a touchdown and suffered a concussion. Knocked senseless, Frerotte missed the remainder of the game against the New York Giants and several weeks after that.

No its his 2nd I remember someone at my school was telling me that he got his 2nd of his career. Man did he get hit, but oh **** did Brett Farve ever take a beating, I am surpised he didnt get one

Yikes, it seems as though Gus forgot his own history of brain injuries. Perhaps he should sit out this week...

I know that link says he had a concussion from the headbutt, but I remember it being a neck strain.
