Hate to see a player get hurt, but it is the nature of the beast.

Question is, who do we have behind him at ILB?

Kershaw resigned. Folsom on practice squad.

But who?

ehem...paging Zack Thomas, Zack...Mr. Thomas...please go to the nearest airport for your firstclass flight to Miami.

Would he provide a spark? ala Seau?

i hope its nothing serious, for all the flack Channing gets here we'd be doomed without him... hes just an easy figure to lay the blame on...

You're right. He isn't very good, but he's probably the best ILB we have. But then again, Torbor was actually out there making plays, I know he got a pick off a tip.. something Crowder has never gotten close to doing.
 
LB Kershaw re-signed, Crowder injured

DAVIE - The Miami Dolphins have re-signed inside linebacker William Kershaw, who was one of the final players cut at the end of training camp this summer.

Kershaw, who split time between the practice squad and the Dolphins' active roster last season, takes cornerback Will Allen's place on the team's 53-man roster.

Allen, who tore the ACL in his left knee during Sunday's 46-34 loss to the Saints, will be placed on injured reserve today.

But there's some concern about a possible injury starting inside linebacker Channing Crowder suffered against the Saints.

Crowder, who has battled knee problems the past two seasons, and is presently nursing a left ankle injury, underwent an MRI immediately following the Saints game. The nature of his actual injury was not disclosed.

They should do an MRI on Crowders ego. That is where the injury is. I mean you whiff on Brees for the sack, get jacked by a back up running back in Mike Bell, and let ANOTHER QB run up the middle for a TD.

I'm ready for anyone to go in take over his spot. It is both comical and sad at the same time.
 
This defense lacks heart and leadership, both of which Zach would provide.

He makes up in his lack of stature with his knowledge and preparation.

LoL , I couldn't have said it any better.
 
LOL watch our defensive play DROP off significantly with Crowder out. I guarantee it. It happened last year when we played KC.

Those of you who are glad that he is out are absolutely clueless.
