Dolphins | Culpepper testifies in boat party scandal
Wed, 22 Mar 2006 11:07:30 -0800

The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper testified Wednesday, March 22, that he spent his entire time shooting dice during a Lake Minnetonka boat party last October and rejected offers from dancers. Culpepper, who is one of four players charged with misdemeanor lewd conduct, said he was gathered with friends in a circle, betting $20 a throw playing craps. "Nobody who was shooting dice wanted to get a dance," said Culpepper, who added that he was a designated driver for the evening.

sounds like a good story to me. set him free.

Sounds believeable, but we will never "REALLY" know what happened......I say we just forget about it.....even if the guy got a dance.....WHO CARES! lol

Dude I love how people are saying his personality is disruptive. The guy made one mistake by going on a sex boat. But what 25-30 yr. old wouldnt have gone? He is a good guy and team player. I garuntee this will all take care of itself. And everyone will remember him for leading the fins to the promise land not getting fresh with strippers on a boat.

Out of all the people on the boat there was only 1 witness who said they saw Culpepper getting a dance and that was a female employee of the boat company. First of all, do you think she has an agenda? And secondly, how many 20 something girls are going to know who is who?

There are numerous witnesses who saw some of the male employees of the boat company getting lap dances, yet none of them were charged.

I think this is another reason why Culpepper wanted out of Minnesota. There seems to be a lot of rednecks there. I am sure he is really going to enjoy the diversity of a city like Miami. Unlike Minny, the fans here don't care what color their QB is.

Im SOOOOOO tired of hearing that C-Pep is like TO and that he's a problem. The guy never did anything wrong in his entire career and he was a leader and a team player. Give the guy a break he's a good dude. Cant wait to see him playing for us this season.

in the thread a while ago that had the whole police report said that employees on the boat saw him getting a lap dance, and touching the dancers butt. god i hope culpepper just didnt purger himself

Oh great. Now they will charge him with illegal gambling.

Who really gives a crap what he did ? I couldn't care less if he was getting a lap dance, or gambling.

Anyone here ever buy a lotto ticket ? Oohh...you shameful sinners. That is also gambling.

Anyone here ever been to a strip club ? Or had a party that included a stripper ? Any of you who have, have no right to judge another man for doing the same thing. Reguardless of his career.

"But they were prostitutes " you say. If you say you've never (in any way, shape, or form) paid for sex, you're probably either a virgin, or a liar. Which one is it ? If you don't believe this, you probably WILL believe that Donald Trump, or Hugh Hefner get their women strickly on good looks and charm.

It amazes me how judgemental (and hypocritical) our society is.

Every time someone says that Culpepper is an off the field issue I laugh a bit. There are players on an NFL field that have killed people, Culpepper got a lapdance on a boat. Unless he killed one of those strippers and threw her body overboard I dont care weather the aligations are true or not, this should not even be an issue
