Just read this on NFL.com

"I walked up to Chris Gamble and I told him, 'Thank you,'" said Culpepper after his new team, the Miami Dolphins, lost to the Carolina Panthers 19-10. "If he hadn't hit me like that, I probably wouldn't be here right now. I was very excited to come back to the city of Charlotte and I was glad to go out and show people it really isn't an issue."

hmmmmmm its true! thanks cris gamble for our new QB! but dont ever think of it happening again!
 
Gamble got him out of a bad situation in Minnesota. Although it was a painfull process it has actually worked out better for all parties. We got Dante for a bargain price and they got rid of Dante just like they wanted to. I think we got the better end of this deal.
 
Yeah they chose a 6'7" center from New Mexico named Ryan Cook with the pick we gave up! I doubt he'll ever make a Pro-Bowl, or even start for an NFL team unless he plays great at another position like OT. Ryan Cook for Daunte Culpepper! Gotta love it!
 
I wonder if there's some underlying hostility there actually. The hit didn't look dirty before when I saw it, but maybe Daunte thinks it was...I dunno.
