Specifically, these questioners have wondered, what was Colts center Jeff Saturday doing five yards downfield on a pass that appeared to carry across the line of scrimmage? Shouldn't Saturday -- and maybe Colts right guard Mike Pollak -- have been called for ineligible receiver downfield?

My friend was yelling at me saying that Saturday was way beyond the LOS before the ball was thrown and looking at the replay, I agreed. Another example of the incompetence of Mike Perrira and his officials. Or is the league taking a chapter from the NBA rule book and allowing the the bigger names, i.e. Peyton Manning, more latitude when making calls that go against his team.:ponder:

or course they did. Everyone knows that. But all that matters is the W. Thats why it hurts.

can you show me a picture or a replay of the play in question please?

Yes I saw that also....

also does anybody else think gibril wilson had that pick because he had the ball and his knees were on the ground before the ball came out isnt that a pick or not

The evidence was not conclusive to overturn the call on the field. And yes, the refs, hell the whole NFL, kisses Manning's,and Brady's butt.

Manning threw the ball in front of the line of scrimmage three times against the Titans Vince Youngs rookie year. All the the same game. He was called for one of them.
