RD 1-Jamar Fletcher CB
RD 2-Chris Chambers WR
RD 3-Morlon Greenwood OLB


Fletcher was a bust, Chambers has a ton of talent but hasn't put it together, and Greenwood was pretty decent value in RD 3 but not on the team anymore

is this going to turn into another thread about how much better the jets are in comparison to the dolphins?
 
I had no clue we only drafted three guys on the first day the last five years.

Hint: You may want to edit and fix that.

The Dolphins produced a total of 5 starters(Ronnie Brown, Matt Roth, Channing Crowder, Chris Chambers, Vernon Carey) with five years worth of first day picks.. None of these guys are stars, and one of them(Vernon Carey) is a player that the team is trying to replace.

How can you fans support Ginn? The Dolphins do not have a great track record in the draft...

I know my Jets have f'd up in the past, but if I was a Dolphins fan I would be concerned..

Also, this isn't the same group that did those draft mess ups. Wannsted and Speilman are long gone. Saban did a fine job he just never had any picks.
 
Since when is Carey trying to be replaced? Last time I thought he was being upgraded from RT to LT. BTW why was this thread started? To point out the obvious for the 1000th time?

We can support Ginn because he was drafted by the Dolphins. Anymore stupid questions like this one?

Oh one more thing. You said over the past 5 years yet you included 6 years of drafts. Is this that new math or something? :evil:

if you are going to come on here and talk junk, the last thing a jets fan should start with is the draft. you should also have a clue about what you are saying.

You are arguing that Jamar Fletcher's abilities correlate to the future success of Ted Ginn.

2.Matt Roth DE ----- GOOD PICK (Although not sure yet, looking like a good pick.)
3.Channing Crowder OLB ---- GREAT PICK

2006
1. Jason Allen ----- (Depending on play this year could turn out to be a good pick.)
3.Derek Hagan --- (Can become a good #2 WR this year.)

Last two years havent been bad at all. Thats all that matters right now.
