MERGED-Dolphins game No High Definition??

I just looked at the cable tv schedule and it's saying the Dolphins game WON'T be in High Definition....this is a shock to me...thought for sure it would be in HD being there's only a few games...can anyone confirm this because as far as I know it's definitely not in HD.
 
id b shocked how would it not b available on high def if its on nbc...thatd b weird but i dont know the answer

I see where it's listed as HD on directv...but I'm still not sure if HD cable will have it in HD...the listing says No???
Can't understand why directv will have it in HD and not cable...since it's the same network...unless they have the tvguide for cable listing wrong?
 
once you start watching football in HD, and a game is not in HD, you get pretty pissy about it. ask anyone who has an HD tv...

:lol: :lol: This is true LtDan...you get spoiled when you see it in HD.
I'll give you a little feeling of how it is...well you ever go to a friends or family members house and watched something on tv and the picture was all snowy and no color and they would just sit there and act like nothing was wrong..and you were thinking "Man this is horrible"...then you went home and turned on your own tv and was like "ahhh..this is more like it".
Well that's how you feel when you've seen it in HD..it's painful to watch it in standard Def.
The picture has more detail..it's much clearer...and the colors are so much more vibrant..reds are really red everything is better...the field of view is bigger..you see more going on...thats why you see all these darn HD threads..:D
I have to admit I'd get tired of them to.
 
I work at an independant cable operator in Ohio and we're carrying the game in HD. So long as you can get the local CBS affiliates HD feed you should be able to watch the game in HD.
 
Those of us with HD know that there are actually BLADES of grass on the field, not just a green blur...:tongue:
 
I have it set to record on my DVR on the HD Channel ... that being said, being carried on an HD channel and actually being in HD are two different things. Just because it is carried on the HD channel it could still show up as SD with two black bars on each side, happens to me all the time watching football. What matters is whether or not there are HD cameras at the stadium that day. But I believe with only one game each network there should be! So here's to hoping it is.

the reason for that is cbsdoent have any of thier games ever in high definition
