Sounds like good news to me. I hope they keep Lance Schulters as well. They should have started Schulters last year over Cameron Worrell. It seems like Worrell just went after tackles while Schulters made plays on the ball.

yeramiah bell

we re-signed bell, i think its a smart move, i think he is on the brink of being one of the elite safetys in the nfl lets just hope he stays healthy

I love it

Me three! I really hope he comes back full strength from that serious injury. This kid is a big hitter and has a nose for the ball and the QB. I love safety sacks! Paired with Jason Allen, the potential is there for a great safety duo.

Oh, I also agree about keeping Schulters for depth purposes. He is solid and smart...slower and older, but solid.

I like Bell, problem is, he will probably just get injured again. I think he has every year so far. He is talented just not someone to bank on.

He's definitely a difference maker on defense for us....we just have to hope he doesn't turn into the Fred Taylor of safeties.

Honestly guys, Bell should just be a backup.

He gets injured (seriously) way too often if he plays full-time.

Itd be better to get a full-time guy and have Bell come in to spell the starter and/or provide awesome depth.

But as a full-time starter you can count on...no way.

Bell is a good safety. His only problem is the injuries which is im sure why we signed him for only a year. If he werent so injury prone he wouldve gotten a 5 year contract easily.

YB going down early really hurt us...

I cringed everytime I realized Cameron Worell was actually out there as a posistional player...

we could only hope. that would mean the worst is over. taylor had a rash of injuries (like bell), but has been relatively healthy for two or three seasons now.

Good signing for a short term fix. Just wish Bell could consitantly stay healthy...cuz when he is...he is a playmaker.
