Merged: Dolphins lead NFL with $44 million under cap

I have a sneaky suspicion BP and Ireland are about to make a big splash. I feel something really big is coming, not sure who or how, but something really big is about to happen. This is always been a Parcells trademark. stay tuned fellas!!

I get that feeling too. Tuna and anyone who is his right wingman know that you must pay (getting value mind you) to being able to play. We have the goods let's acquire the pieces to the puzzle!

Unlike the past...I hope they spend less on top free agents who never play worth a hoot...and use it for mid range free agents and to use the rest to pay for draft picks and the future.

I thought the titans were the most with cap room.

If this article is indeed true, I must say i am amazed. We have the first round pick, along with a bunch of low picks, followed by numerous picks, and now we have the most cap room.

Bill Parcells and Ireland haven't done a damn thing and they have our team sitting up top looking pretty....LMAO!

you can bring in alot of young players that have upside with that kind of money, i would rather sign ten guys that have promise cheaper then one the breaks the bank

We can still make that one bank breaker, without it actually breaking the bank. That guy, followes by other middle ones, and the draft, and we are in good shape.

NFL Network Reports we are 44M under cap

I'm watching NFL network right now and on the scroll on the bottom of the screen it showed teams under cap and the dolphins are number one (44 million under cap!)

Another thread already started PLEASE MERGE!

The thing is there not to many big names out there just our luck..

I think we can afford one or two big name free agents. They can structure contracts around the cap these days. Just because we might get a couple of big, bank-breaking free agents doesn't mean that we're going to lose all of our cap and the future is going to be lost. If you guys want to see your team win in 4 years, draft draft draft. If you want to try to be competitive within the next two seasons, you might want to figure a few free agents into the equation...
