Citing league sources, the Washington Post reports that the Dolphins offered Jason Taylor to the Redskins.

However, the Redskins reportedly turned Miami down. The Dolphins may have asked for the No. 21 overall pick, which Washington is interested in moving, but 'Skins officials don't feel Taylor would fit in with their long-term plans. The Post does not expect the Redskins' stance to change.

This Sucks. Rumors of Taylor wanting to retire is really hearting his value. At real pissed at Taylor by now, and just want him to be traded.

"NEW" JT to the Redskins?

if i were the 'skins i'd have declined as well.

maybe if we switch 4th round picks with them to sweeten the deal... :p

He's an older player, it's not the rumors of him wating to retire it's about him getting up there in years. He's still very productive but how long can that last? the #21 pick is alot to ask for that.

why does ur title say JT TO THE REDSKINS? as if its a possibility wehre that clearly says otherwise. dude if ur ogin to post post with proper titles cuz thats very misleading. at least say "New: JT to REDKINS seems a no go"

Since when did Washington start thinking long term?

In my area the Redskins are on every week. I wish I could get a dollar for every time one of their announcers complains about no pass rush this season. I'll open my window and yell in the direction of Fed Ex Field, "You could have had Jason Taylor you cheap @#%$@%!!!"

Since when did Washington start thinking long term?

Not "long term" but they haven't been their usually stupid free agent signing themselves this off-season. Although they almost traded the next five years away for Chad Johnson.

Dolphins offered Redkins trade

rotoworld.com reports that we offered the skins Jason Taylor and the rejected....they said that we probably wanted their 21 overall pick
