Donnie Jones - the New Punting Headhunter

One thing I always loved about Turk was his mentality that he didn't care he was a punter and was a force to be reckoned with against kicker returners trying to take it to the house. I always considered him something of a headhunter.

After Donnie Jones' hit on Roscoe Parrish today - which, btw, was sweet as hell - his heart won't be questioned, he comes to play, and he'll lay his body out on the line for field position and this team.

He is a great punter....was leading the league before this game (not sure about now)....ok...."great" takes years of doing so...but you get my point. From being no one to leading the league?....he's doing good, lol

LOL!!! He would time his punts. Remember the game that he punted into a stiff wind (not sure where, I was a kid) and the ball went straight up? I think his punt actually travelled -6 yards. :rofl3:

Jesus, he's a punter. Let him have his damn hit. If Roscoe is big enough to be in the NFL, he is big enough to get jacked up by a punter. End of story!

You're right . He is a little guy but he's much more used to hitting and getting hit than a punter. Still, there was a huge weight difference and it showed.
