Andre Johnson

This guys talent is being wasted in Houston does anybody happen to know when his contract will expire.

I think he has either 2 or 3 years left on his contract. Whenever the Texans get their offense going, then Johnson will be a top WR in the NFL. I doubt that the Texans will let him go because he is their only playmaker at WR and he saves Carr's *** a few times.

I dont know if you saw the sunday night game last week, but he is pretty worthless if you ask me.

NFLPA says that he's signed through 2008 but that year is probably an option year, so 2007.

well, then you apparently don't know what you're talking about... i wouldn't base his ability based on one fumble last Sunday night...

Andre Johnson is as close to a Terrell Owens (ability-wise) as the league has seen since Terrell came into the league... He has not been right all season, trying to play through a very bad calf strain that he keeps aggravating... However, when right, and when Carr has had time to throw, he is a nightmare for DBs... He's huge, has elite football speed, leaping ability, good hands and rare explosion...

He needs to get a bit more disciplined with his route running and commitment, but that will come with good coaching -- which i doubt he has received thus far.... If Andre Johnson were a free agent, I would do everything in my power to bring him to my city... He will be a difference maker, guaranteed...

The most gifted WR to come out of "the U" ... sorry Irvin fans, but it's Andre Johnson...

The same injury that put Seau down for the season.

Andre is a great WR. Someday that line will block and he and Carr will have a Hayday tearng apart secondaries

He's not going anywhere

Johnson's salary is set to jump up from $555,000 this season to $5,000,000 next year.

Plaxico Burress

Im tellin ya, he is not happy in Giant land. He has an out in his contract. Nick Saban and Burress reunited? Sideline reporter once again ackowledging that he is not happy with Eli and what is transpiring.

I'll be sure to remind people if he ends up a Fin this that you heard it here first. ;)

I just posted about him in the NFL forum. He is a quitter. He quit on his team and I wouldn't want him on the Dolphins. I doubt Saban will either.

He will not be going anywhere plus what does that say about his character he was one of the most thrown to reciever in the NFL and now hes still complaining. Also, he is on Playoff team I do not see a reason for him to complain!

WR is probably like 10th on the list of needs for this team. If we do get a WR it will be like a 3rd or 4th WR

A Potential WR That Could Fit

Its obvious Nick wants to improve the speed at the WR position, hence workouts for guys like Campbell, Madise and earlier in the year, Triandos Luke. Brian Gilmore is an outstanding ST guy, but has shown little to nothing as a WR, and we certainly know how Nick feels about guys who are one dimensional (Tony Bua.. remember him?) Anyway, Antwaan Randle El will be a UFA this offseason and Pittsburgh likely will let him walk as Cedrick Wilson has taken over as their deep threat. Randle El seems to fit exactly the kind of WR Saban is looking to add, and he also adds another dimension to the offense with his ability to throw the ball. Makes several trick plays possible, end arounds etc. He can also act as a good ST guy and punt returner.

Shouldnt be too expensive, young, versatile, hard worker, similar but better then other WRs we have been looking at.. Sounds like a fit. Thoughts?
