I do, because if the Dolphins beat the Steelers then there would be no excuses and they will be viewed as a team on the rise whereas if they lose the game without Big Ben in there they will take quite a bashing in the media.

well what if our starting QB doesnt play in that game either? then what?

Then screw what the media thinks, a win is a win.

On second thought, I want Ben in week 1, otherwise the Steelers fans are going to be saying that we beat them because Ben wasn't playing

Yes. We are good enough so let us beat them at their best Apart from any thing else I want him to get better. I wish him well.

Same here. He seems like a good guy.

I love the Dolphins just as much as anybody, but I would trade an open day loss for Ben to be ok and not suffer any permanent damage. I drive a Harley, always wear my helmet. I am stationed in AZ in the Air Force, so I have to, but I would anyways. I have lost a few friends on bikes, most without helmets at low speeds. I am actually more comfortable with a helmet on. My prayers are with Big Ben and his family.

Nawww.... we will get the "under the radar"... or the "refs gave them the game.... or Pit "did not play as well as they should"...

IMHO, it will take us till the end of the year for us to start getting respect...

Its kind of ironic. I want him back healthy, so that are D can put the hurt on him, and show what we can do. Look for Roth to come of age this year guy's.

I would rather play them in week 1 than any other time in the season. We traditionally seem to perform better as underdogs in those circumstances than at any other time. It poses to be a good game particularly if Culpepper is starting and the new players really gel during the offseason.
