Fans throwing in the towel

I think its cool that fin fans fantisize about the upcoming draft by the 10th game of the season but even though our QB and CB's are weak, the fins rule.If you are a real Dolphins fan you will be there for your team. I have been a fan for 35 years and we have sucked eggs at times and dominated, but no matter what....I will be a fin fan forever. Its hard to see your team make the same mistakes game after game but the NFL is a very tough league. Its not the same anymore where certain teams dominate all the time. The NFL teams are so good now that any team has the potential to beat another team at any given time. I love this game and even though Gus is not great I will always be a Dolphin fan. Marino was the best IMO.:evil::evil:

very well put these people who stop liking the dophins because we lose a couple seasons in a row are redicuilous.. how sad is that does that mean your a front runner.. well guess what if you dont want to be fans of the franchise then dont let the door hit'ya where the good lord split'ya..if your jumpin ship now then you arent the kind of fans i want cheering with me when we are super bowl bound..Go Dolphins:bandwagon :bandwagon :bandwagon :bandwagon

Ive said it before, Miami has the most "fair-weather" fans in the NFL. Why? I wish I knew. When your opponents bring more fans to the game (New Eng game and Pitt last year its sad) than your home team then to me thats a problem. It might be the weather and the attractions nearby, it might be all the imported people from the northeast retiring in Miami. It's sickening to me watching a Fins game when you can here the J E T S chant or cheering when Brady completes a long pass. I've been to Arrowhead and Soldier field, trust me hearing the other teams fans chanting is not a problem. Getting out alive with your Fins gear on could be though.

It's because we're so dispersed around the country. I mean look at the FinHeaven location map: http://www.frappr.com/Finheaven

There's a lot of us in the northeast. We can't make it to the games every week.

:sosad:

Yet another finger pointing post at our fans from someone in another friggin state.

I guess I'll just cancel my season tix and advise everyone else in my section that has been going to all the games for years to give it up because there aren't any real fans in Miami. Why the hell would I pay over 2 grand a year on tickets for a losing cause.

Sure people fantasize but they still want their team to win no matter what. I'd like to the see the Fins take the AFC East title more than anyone. If we can do that yet still trade for a shot at Leinart, that'd be perfect. :)

Can we stop the "negative fans" and "fair weather fans" remarks?

I'm getting tired of some people on here calling other fans "bad fans" or "negative fans" or "fair weather fans".In the end, we're all just fans.We all want the same thing which is for our team to win it all. We're all frustrated cos we haven't won in 32 years(33 after this one)so that makes some people make what you'd consider negative coments. But how can we blame anyone after not winning in more than 3 decades? Everyone deals with it in different way. Some think that everything will be just great and others tend to think that we'll never get better.Either way one group is not better than the other cos in the end we all just want for our team to win. Some call it being"negative" and others call it being "realistic".People get upset when some guys start to talk about the draft this early saying they're "bad fans" or "go root for another team" or "you're just giving up".Guess what? People that start to talk about the draft this early just LOVE our team. They love the team so much that they're always thinking about what we need to make our team better. The draft brings hope. Those guys that talk about the draft this early can't stop dreaming about how we can win it all if we draft the right LT or trade for the right QB.They love the team so much that even tho we're not having a good season, they're already thinking about yet another season!!If these guys are bad fans, why'd they even worry about the draft? So please people, stop thinking that you're a better fan than the other guy cos in the end, we're ALL just fans of the Dolphins and we ALL want the same thing.A superbowl win.Win or lose I'll always be a Dolphins fan and so will everyone else on this board.

Bro... I love the Fins, and would NEVER want them to lose or root against them. But there is no reason to not talk about players that we might get on our team... That isnt throwing in towel, or implying that we dont want the fins to succeed.

Nothing I can't stand more than... Let's tank the season to play the "Kids"...

Not time for that. Even the vets still need practice in the new system. Look at the improvement of our O-line the past 2 games alone!

Well said man...

People who love to ***** love the team that they can ***** at the most. Thats my theory. Even when someone does good, they still are not happy. Unreal.
