Finally some decent news. Tommy Maddox won't play against us next week.

At least against Pittsburgh we get to play against a rookie QB in Ben however you spell his last name. Tommy Maddox is out for the game so the rook will probably make a few big mistakes and hopefully our D will be able to score on them to cancel out AJ's pick for a TD next week.

Just a thought at least.

Be carefull what you wish for! He is a good QB (yes raw) but the same could be said for Palmer and he beat us! They like to run the ball and have some real good recievers.

Seems almost like a carbon copy of the Bengals game doesn't it? A team with a young, unproven QB, a team that likes to run and has a couple of very good recievers. a team coming off a loss.....we better step up or else we're in DEEP trouble.

I totally agree, if our OL doesn't play anybetter than they did last night, it doesn't matter who the QB on the other side.

I`d rather we faced Maddox, than Rothlisberger. Rothlisberger threw two picks yesterday, but he also had two TDs.

Doesn't matter. If you can't score you can't win. AJ or Jay will hand Pitt's defense points. Miami won't score any points until late in the 4th quarter when the game is out of reach

Its kind of funny to hear people say we have a better chance to win because Big Ben is in instead of Maddox, remember there was a thread last week saying we do well against young qb's. Palmer didnt beat us, but his team did. You know what will make a difference??? The difference is getting our team ready to play no matter who we face, not talking or worrying about who is playing for the other team.

I think you wrong Ben is better than Maddox.:shakeno:

The only way we are going to win the game is if our D score some pooints.

Big Ben is more prone to mistakes than Palmer/McNair were.

Dont be surprised to get 2-3 INTs, and at least bring them into FG territory.

I think the game is very winnable for Miami

I don't see how you can proclaim Ben better than Maddox. He has played what a half of meaningful football? The fact is that he is a rookie and rookie QBs almost always struggle with turning the ball over and the odds say that Ben will suffer that same fate.

Pack lions will sometimes wound their pray in order train the young cubs how to kill and get fresh meat.Ben is the young cub.Could we be the fresh meat ?
