Merged:Good ESPN Article on Cam Wake

well,we'll see how he's gonna do during the upcoming season...i hope he lights it up,and gives Peezy some much needed relief, but again,we'll see....

what i love about his numbers is that he had more than double anyone elses sack total in the league...

he had 23, the next highest guy had 11...

at first i heard 23 sacks, im like wow a thats a lot, and i knew that sacks were less common there with the style of offenses they use up there... but i didn't realize it was 12 more than the next closest guy.... that makes it 10x more impressive...

Those numbers can't be correct. Weighing 260 and running a 4.55 40 yard dash with a 46" vert. The 40 yard dash is believable but the vert seems a little high.

Wow, awesome article. I'm really excited about the move.

Also, I LOVE that Bill Polian wanted the guy. He is up there with Bill Parcells as one of the absolute best talent evaluators in the world.

Thanks for the link, This guys going to be easy to root for.......The only problem I see is his lack of experience playing football, and now he is going to play in the NFL in a position he hasn't played before. I could see him struggling at first and being used as a situational pass rusher until he learns the position. That's why I think we are not done with the OLBer position. It wouldn't surprise me if we traded for Peppers to play OLB.

I don't see the Peppers deal happening....he's never played OLB before either, and neither had Roth until this past season. I'm sure there will be an adjustment period, but teams move college DE's to OLB all the time.

Awesome article, its really cool to know that he's finally getting his real chance to become something HUGE, and I really hope he has success here

Being a yard off the ball has its advantages for a D-Lineman as well. I wonder if he can shed the blocks to get to the QB. We'll see in a few months from now.
