Ex-UM middle linebacker Ray Lewis, 30, plays the same position as Zach Thomas, 32, but has told friends he would love to finish his career in Miami and believes he might be set free by Baltimore next spring. . . . An associate says Ricky Williams (now in California) has indicated he and the Dolphins are feeling good about their chances in his April 10 drug-test appeal.

As far as Ricky, I hope the Fins and the Rickster are right. I'm rooting for him.
 
Lewis can piss off, we(meaning me and my dog, you have to speak for you) don't need nor want his stupid act here. If he got on his kness and licked the spot on our feild where he pissed, maybe I would talk to him long enough to laugh and say no.

well me 2 im just saying in the 3-4 they both can play the middle, Crowder the outside with arrington? or a draft pick

I seen and interview with Billick and their owner on NFL network yesterday and they won't let Ray go anywhere from their reaction to the rumor that he was unhappy in Balt. He is their team leader and has more say than anyone in their org. by the way the put it.
 
I don't know, Ray-Ray is the best MLB in the NFL when healthy, but we have Zach who is still pretty damn good. If he would be willing to play OLB(if we don't get LaVar), I'd accept him. He's proved in Baltimore that he can help young guys develop (Hartwell, McAllister, Reed, Suggs)
 
Isn't Ray Lewis a murderer who pulled an OJ and got away with it?
 
I can see a scenario of Ray coming here but if we end up with Lavar and meanwhile our draft picks blossom even more than they have already, I don't see the need for an admittedly stella but aging LB, especially if he's going for his last big pay day. He's probably just setting up his suitors for next off-season, just in case.

I feel exactly like you do, Ray Lewis is a joke and I dont wanna see him in a Dolphins uniforme.
 
Zach is a warrior anyway. He will play till he's 43. Ahmad Brooks was let off of VA team the other day and he has been a Butkus award finalist as a soph and will be in the supplemental draft. Might be someone worth looking at as a future replacement.
