for the job he has done with this group of Offensive Lineman. He has indeed made some chicken salad out of chicken chit this season. Four weeks ago, these guys couldnt block there way out of a soaking wet brown paper bag, now they are getting consistent push in the run game, and doing a fine job of protecting Joey back there. I know Joey releases the ball fast, but he has also been given time in the pocket when he needs it also. I look forward to continued improvement out of this bunch, GOOD JOB MR. HOUCK.

I agree with you on that, just a few weeks ago, some people on here were saying the game has past him by.

Whoa....don't forget to give Capers his dues as well. Both Capers and Houck deserve mad props.

Only problem I have with Joey besides his accuracy is his inability to adapt to his new o-line. He's still getting rid of the ball a little early when he's got time. He'll throw the ball away when he's hardly getting any pressure.

But I guess people will always complain about something... "he's holding the ball TOO long" or "he's getting rid of the ball TOO early!" If the O-line can stay consistent, this can very well be what Pep needs to excell in this league.

Great job today defense!

Are we forgetting something.....Props to the O-Line!!!

These guys were mauling the KC D-lineman in the first half....Joey went untouched and had all the time in the world, heck they were even able to get a flea flicker in there....Either the O-line is gelling or we have finally found a formula that works....

McIntosh, James, Hadnot, Shelton, Carey

As the game went on it seems like they began to wear out, but it may have had msomething to do with the humidity....

Despite, great job!

I don't think our o-line made a single penalty....they looked really good out there. Joey had time to throw it, and the line opened some nice holes for Ronnie.

Good hit!

That's the best any o-line has played against our ends and blitzes all season long. Great job by the o-line.

He's VERY underrated. He's been great for three years now.

From a small school and white would be my guess. :sidelol:

maybe the oline isnt as bad as dolphinfans make it out to be, yet it would be nice to upgrade it anyways.

LOL you could be right....everyone expects a tall african american type defensive end these days....but Allen has a motor....the guy reminds me of a Patrick Kerney....

Why mess with something that works... That is the problem that started us out... If you want a great line, you have to at least give them 2 years t o gel...

Two years ago Vermeil compared him to Grant Wistrom, but since that time Jared has become a BETTER player than Wistrom.

cept Kerney was a top 5 pick and his very strong. Allen is a kid from Idaho State who was able to become a great DE; and drafting Hali will only help him (He's had Hicks starting opposite of him for his first 2 years)
