If you were our coach....

(no GM powers)

What would you do?

I would line up our Offensive starters and our Defensive starters.(or whats left of them..)

Then just give Seau and Thomas the green light to blitz.

Send atleast six everytime.

Damn....

We didnt pick up the blitz....

Well,"Line up and do it again"!!!!!

And again.

And again.........

Untill the O-Line starts to know who the fuc( they are suppose to block.

"Repetition is the key to learning"....

Well, its time to accelerate the process.

I would throw shorter pass plays like 5 yards and let our recievers do the work. Quick pass plays make bad lines look better.

I would have fired Tony Wise after last season. Right now though, I would throw every blitz possible at them nonstop for hours a day. Then coach then on what they did wrong after every 5 snaps. I would put mcintosh and carey in and keep the line together with no more switching. LET THEM GELL.

HERE IS THE KEY TO THE SEASON:::: If our o-line is just young IT CAN BE FIXED AFTER A COUPLE GAMES. If our o-line just lacks talent and its not because they are young We are ****ed for the season.

I would just get rid of the o line coach. That is the prob. They are not knowing who to block.

i would just put a large Orange cone behind the line, right about where the end of a "5 step drop" would be.

Then tell the O-Line they CAN NOT GO HOME untill they prevent the D-Line /blitzers,from geting to the cone for 3.5 seconds on four consecutive plays.

I think Id be there all night.......:)

But someone has to sacrifice.....

I would line up the OL, blindfold them and let the firing squad do thier job.....

If I were our coach "ala" Wanny, I would SHAVE THE PORNSTACHE!!!!

I'd bring 6 and make them stay there until they get it together. You have to use the backs and McMichael, because they need to get it together as a team. Put in McIntosh at LT Carey at RG and then 130 straight blitzes of 6 or 7 guys. Then you do it again tommorrow and the next day if necessary!!! Our OL looked PATHETIC!!! Gordon was hit in the backfield often, when he wasnt hit in the backfield there were no holes to run through. AJ had no time to throw and still isnt on the same page as the WR's, if he was the INT for a TD doesnt happen. All of the Dolphins problems start with those front five!!!

I would install a very basic zone blocking scheme for the oline during pass protection. Assign them areas from the inside out (no man protection) and always keep in one TE and one RB to chip block, never have more than three men running patterns. I would also throw deep more often. Five step drop and immediate release, only about a 40 yard pattern but it stretches out the D. Throw the ball towards the sideline so that it is either caught by our receiver or sails out of bounds, at least threatening the defense that we may go deep if you blitz us. I would also install a very simple audible system that will allow AJ to change the inside receiver's pass patterns at the line if he sees the blitz coming. The WRs and AJ do not seem to be on the same page regarding hot routes, so simply take the guessing out and audible to a specific pattern upon seeing the coverage scheme.

Nice idea. Less expensive than my alternative, which was to send them (and Brightful) home on a separate plane, with orders to have it shot down over open water.

The degree of Wannys stupidity can be labeled by one decision, leaving a guy to return punts that has put the ball on the ground 3 TIMES!!!!
