Jason Taylor traded to the Redskins for a 2nd round pick

Just saw a report on the local (D.C) Comcast coverage....Looking for a link but will post one when I find it.
 
Fine. I was hoping we would squeeze a 1st out of them because of their situation. Let's hope there is some kind of condition attached...say, a Pro Bowl appearance vaults the 2nd to a 1st.

Either way, we all have another team to root against to improve our draft position.
 
hmmm..... that makes two HOF players gone in one year. That leaves .... ..... .... well, none really.
 
A second isn't bad ... I suspect that there are some escalators to either add another low round pick or bump it to a first. .. Given the NFC East ties the FO has, I am suprised this finished so quickly and they didn't try to get the other NFC East teams interested while the Redskins were down.
 
How does the money situation work? Do we get too keep some or did they compensate to sweeten the deal? Was like in the millions I think for one year.

it also gives the dolphins a better chance to build towards the future

I don't know about you'all, but I'm happy with this


and JT didnt go to NE or the JETs or any of those hated teams =-)
 
So now Ricky is officially the team veteran, lol. I hope Phillip Merling can somewhat fill his shoes(once he signs). Or at least get one of the shoes on.
 
Come to think of it ... this makes Ricky the longest tenured Dolphin.
