Tune into 790 right now. There is a fan telling his story of how he had a verbal atercation with Jeff Ireland during the game sunday.

The fan apparently told Ireland to "fire himself" and Ireland returned with "Good one, buddy" and later tapped the fan on the shoulder and called him an "ahole" and walked away.

(Honestly, this is a total hit job by the radio show, and who knows if this is even true. I would love to see how Ethan Skolnick would react if someone walked up to him and told him to fire himself for his awful radio show)

Note: This is actually on 104.3 FM (The Ticket now has 2 radio stations)

Don't know what's your problem with Ethan, I think he's solid covering the Miami Heat. He covers Miami sports in general but his main branch is the Heat.

Jeff Ireland is a bad general manager but that guy does sound like an *******.

I don't have an opinion of him as a journalist, but as a radio host, he is awful.

Ireland is an ahole, but the fan was a bigger ahole calling him out at the game.
Unless the guy is going to take a swing at him, it sounds pretty childish.
Just my .02

Please, this is so lightweight. Ireland shouldn't even had to react. I've seen fans do/said worst than this. Ridiculous that it's even a story and even more ridiculous that Ireland gave it attention.

Well, apparently before telling him to fire himself, the fan was yelling expletives at Ireland and telling him he sucks. Basically acting like a jerk.

Then he should have acted like a professional, called security and have that fan be escorted out of the stadium. Pretty sure the security would have listened to the GM of the Dolphins.

If I was Ireland I would have said a lot more than "good one"
