What are everyone's thoughts about Beck after watching him during Mini-Camp? I personally think that he had a pretty good camp. I like the way he was reading and confusing DBs. Also, he was able to recognize the blitz a couple of times and preferred to throw the ball out of bounds than throw the interception. He did well managing the time and had good communication with the WRs. In fact, in the only miscommunication problem he had, with Malone, Beck was right on the money but Malone forgot to make his return.

Tough to say. He could be the next Joe Monatana and there'd be no way of telling from a few mini camps.
 
I cant wait to see this guy play a few preseason games. Its going to be great to watch. I really hope that he is as advertised very accurate and strong. Sounded like from the reports that he had a few solid days and a few days where we were looking for a little more. But like everybody knows its only mini-camp. I wanna see what he can do in training camp.
 
I loved how excited he was on his cell phone when the dolphins called him...you get the feeling he really connected with Cameron when they worked him out and was hoping they would draft him. I'm excited to have him!
 
glad to hear that, being in Calgary I have limited info on mini camps and such. Thanks guys, makes me feel much better about the draft. Who cares if quinn does well, if beck is good now and better after developing then it will be a worthwhile draft in my opinion.
 
I think he is one who'll benefit from DC not taking away any reps. He has shown that he has the talent, now he has to develop it. The less QBs taking reps the better for him.
 
It's hard to tell from just a couple minicamps but I cannot wait until he goes into some preseason games. I think he is going to be a good QB.
 
It's hard to say this early since we haven't even been through training camp. But so far, I'm very optimistic about his future
 
He'll get plenty reps in camp because Cam has already decided the fate of his QBs. Green will be the starter this and next year. The third year, Beck will start while Green is the backup. Unfortunately for Lemon, he does not factor into the plan. He'll probably draft another QB like them next year in the later rounds to groom. Wasn't Cam raised in Indiana?

Yea but.... he's still only a play away from starting himself.

Gushing over lemon. I'm shocked. What next Blitz doesn't like Cpep? You guys are sooooooo predictable.
 
glad to hear so many positive comments about beck in mini-camp. Hopefully theyre all right on and he pans out as a good qb for us in the future. thanks for the reports.
