Other then Cal Ripken he was my favorite player during his playing days. Lets hope in can make a full recovery from this.

Always hated the Twinkies but really liked Kirby when he played.Didn't some freakish eye injury force him to retire early? Puckett and Hrbek(sp)were quite a punch.Best wishes to him and his family.

Dont watch too much baseball,but I remember Kirby Puckett.Always seemed to be at the top of the league in batting avg.My mom recently had a stroke again but is doing fine now.Get well soon big man.
