Lamar Gordon to Jacksonville?

On nfl live, John Clayton just mentioned that the Jaguars might be looking to Lamar Gordon to add depth behind Fred Taylor. Has anyone heard anything about this or is it just some rumor he mentioned in passing?

Unless it's a 3rd round pickm, lets see what he can do this year.

If we get Brown signed I could see it as a possibility as they just lost out on trying to get Henry from the Bills.

WOW!!!!

Hell, we should ask them if they want Ricky!!!....

They can have him for a the low-low price of a 2006 2nd round pick....

PHINZ RULE!!!

True, but if Ricky and Ronnie take command of the #1 and #2 spot, I wouldn't mind shipping Gordon to Jacksonville and get back a 3rd.

Exactly my thoughts.

I agree, but at this point that is a BIG "IF"

Btw - Nub, you use photoshop on your sigs? If so, I could use a bit of help with some things.

No way, because they won't give more than a 4th.
If traded, then it will be a conditional 4th Rd pick with an upgrade to a 3rd/2nd based of something like carries, playing time or yardage.

It would not be a bad thing if Miami can move him, since I think Harris is a good enough 3rd RB.

Right depending on how Williams looks in TC and the preseason I could definitely see Saban trading Gordon for a 3rd seeing as how he would like to stockpile picks. Though I really couldn't see Jax trading more than a 4th for him, maybe with conditions that would make it a 3rd.

hang on guys--Ronnie could be a bust (unlikely though), ricky may never play again for us (quite likely--but hope not) lamar to Jax--and where does that leave us--same ol s**t pit as last year--let us not be too hasty until Ricky returns and ronnie signs and starts showing us what he can do :)

ship him for a third round pick no dout we have minor sammy and kay-jay we can manage with out him
