MERGED: Larry Chester

According to channel 4 they said he blew out his knee and might be out for the year...but it seemed to be more speculation than anything.

....tht would be a perfect way to cap off a meraculous offseason:shakeno:

Very bad news, he looked like he was ready for a monster year. Hope that report is wrong, but seemed like the way he went down and laid there it will be correct.

If this is true, I have to nominate ESPN for the single most appalling lack of follow up on an in-game story ever.

I didn't hear the news that he might be out for the year?!?!?!?

Can any1 find a link or any other information about this....? Were fallin like flies.

That would CRUSH the defense. We'd have no run defense.

No link yet. Just heard it on the local Jim Berry's Sportswrap show. As I said though...they seemed to be specualting at this point.

Update when you get it.

It looked really bad on tape. Definitely was clutching taht right knee.

Hey, they never even mentioned the word "Surtain" tonight. Not once.

Yeah, you would think that Theisman would be the first to report on a knee injury.

But he didn't start. And that's the thing. The announcers only made ONE mention of players who were missing. And that was late in the 3rd, when they mentioned that Tim Bowens and Larry Chester weren't in the game.

I mean, at least say "Will Poole, a rookie who will make his first NFL start" or whatever. But they just went thru the lineups like they were regular starters. And never was a mention made of any of it.

Agreed. The only thing worse thasn our offense tonight was the manner in which Theisman, and especially McGuire, called the game.

Larry Chester?

I know some of you get your panties in a bunch when people dont find an thread already created, but I looked. so sue me if there is one already....

Any word on Larry's injury?? I think the D did great without him and TimBo. BUT we can't afford that loss!
