When Dolphins quarterback Cleo Lemon arrived in South Florida two weeks ago, none of the news cameras at the team's training facility pointed his way.

So what was with the fuss Wednesday? Why the crowd around his locker?

"Did someone just name Cleo Lemon the starting quarterback?" shouted a voice from the back of the media pack.

Close. But not exactly.

Lemon is playing the role of Michael Vick this week, and even a Vick impersonator draws a crowd.

"I don't know another human being as fast as him," said Lemon, who has served as the Dolphins' scout-team quarterback since being acquired from the San Diego Chargers in the A.J. Feeley trade. "I'm nowhere near his speed.

"But at the same time, you've got to do your best to simulate for the defense."

Better him impersonating Vick than Miss Cleo. :lol:
 
o Man i'd love to see a video of this on dolphins insider. Lets hope we're prepared to stop Vicks running and force him to try and beat us with his passing game....which won't do the job. And Go R&R for 200!
 
hopefully this will help.

it will be interesting to see if the fins use a lot of different looks or just stick to being sound with the basics.

i wonder if they thought of using welker or gilmore
 
oh no, if lemon is playing vick, that means he can't throw the ball. guess we need a new guy to be our future QB

well, technically, he can "throw " the ball, he just wouldnt be able to complete many of them. But i bet the time limites struture of the practice, does allow him to emulate vick in throwing for 90 yards a session.
