Oakland Raiders CB Lenny Walls (groin), claimed off waivers Tuesday, Nov. 29 from the Denver Broncos, failed his physical and will not be kept on the Raiders.

well how about that...this sounds like what happened to us last year with Jason Ball...i was all excited when we got him..but he failed his physical

Walls was placed on IR early in November, so it is a given that he isn't 100%. So I wonder what part of the test he failed.


Still wouldn't mind us picking him up now so he can come to camp next year.

Guess you haven't been watching games or listening to them when our secondary is on the field :confused:

He would have atleast been worth looking at or in your words *wasting time on*. Adding depth to with a knowledgable player is always a good thing, but we now offically know he is not 100%.


BTW, never got that PM from ya when GB lost and Miami won :wink:

Walls released by Raiders now

Dont know why but the Raiders released him to sign safety Calvin Branch. Wonder if we'll take a look now.

oops just saw he failed the Raiders physical. They werent satisfied with his knee.

The failed Pysical and the fact that we didn't put in a waiver the first time, tells me we probably will pass again.

Do you think he failed the physical because he's still injured or because he's done playing in the NFL? If it's the former, I say we sign him, then IR him and we'll have him to compete for next year. That can't hurt unless it's not within league rules.
