While our LT situation is uncertain, I'm not not necessarily thrilled about signing him. What exactly was the reason why he wanted out or Arizona? Was it over contract disputes or him wanting more money? If that's the case, I wouldn't want him here. You got to figure if Arizona released him rather than just trading him for a mid-to-low draft pick than something must be up... Also their line, aside from Leonard David, isn't necessarily close to being good enough to start releasing starting offensive lineman. I'd bring him for an interview and leave it up for Saban and Houck to decide and to see if Houck sees anything special in investing in him.
 
McNally didn't think he was worth trading for Henry or the bills knew the cards would release him and we wouldn't need to trade Henry.
 
if the rpice is right would be a great upgrade at the LT position, BUT if the price is right
 
I think we have to bring him in and chat with him. If he wants rediculous money we tell him to leave. If he wants a fresh start and a shot at winning he may settle for less.
 
the more competition the better.

I say do it. Get him on a two year deal.

We also need to get Traylor though and there's only so much money to go around.

we can sign him now can't we and keep Henry for insurance. If we traded for him, we would have to take his 3 million/yr. contract. He just got cheaper now.

I still think the bills will trade him eventually. Some rb is bound to get hurt at camp. I'm not wishing for it but it's happened before and we ended up trading Olandis Gary to the lions for a 4th.

Besides, there's talk that the eagles ,Jags and Titans may still need a rb.
