If the season ended today, this is how I'd see the Dolphins in the Pro Bowl

Jake Long (starting)
Dan Carpenter (backing up Nate Kaeding)
Lousaka Polite (backing up Le'Ron McClain)

It'll be nice to have 3 Dolphins in the Pro Bowl (hopefully). I can't think of another Fin who has a chance though.

Polite absolutely deserves the nod at fullback! However, he won't make it due to his lack of stats even though he probably leads the league on the most important full back stat....pancake blocks!

I agree with Jake Long, Lousaka Polite (I think he deserves it over McClain), and Dan Carpenter (agree behind Kaeding). I also think Ricky Williams and Randy Starks have a legit shot.

How can you leave out Starks??....He has been awesome for us.Other than Polite he is the most deserving on our team.

Randy Starks. I dont think ricky will get in, although for a 32 year old RB, he deserves it.

randy starks has been a beast for us this season. the guy has come into to his own. love wat im seeing, and he deserves to be in the probowl this season. ricky ya also, i mean who else, if 3 r voted in, u got johnson, and then it could be between thomas jones, ray rice, ricky, addai, and benson, and jones drew for 2 more spots.

Who are we sending to the Pro Bowl this year?

I know a topic like this is unimportant after a win against the Jags and heating up the playoff race, but I figured I'd still ask the question, who are we sending?

Polite (Most definitely)
Starks (Has to be)

Anyone else I'm forgetting?

Lou Polite is turning into the best FB in the NFL. He has been great this year blocking and on short downs. He deserves to be in the pro bowl more than any other FB in the NFL I can think of. Jake Long is leading the polls right now, and well deserved. He started off rocky but has been excellent the majority of the year. Carp had 17 straight FG's before the announcers jinxed him today... He's certainly worthy of consideration. What Ricky has managed to do this year has been great, but you can't convince me he deserves the nod over Chris Johnson, MJD, and Ray Rice. Maybe as 1st or2nd alternate. Starks won't make it imo. There isn't a doubt in my mind that Starks is the best 3-4 DE in the NFL. The problem is he doesn't put up the flashy numbers that 4-3 DE's do and will unfortunately probably not make it. Jake Grove despite missing a few games should get a lot of consideration. He has been our best lineman this year and probably the 2nd best C in the NFL behind Nick Mangold. Ted Ginn may make it in as a KR. Walden, Jason Allen, and Hilliard have been great on ST this year, and are a large part of the reason our ST coverage is much, much improved from last year. Probably none are popular enough to make it in as a ST'er though.

Even though Ricky is doing a great job for us
I could name at least 10 running backs who are having better seasons so far.
u can name 10 rbs in the afc who r doing better then ricky? bc thats all that matters in terms of probowl, not league, but confrence.

Chris Johnson, MJD, Cedric Benson, and Ray Rice in the AFC are all having big years
exactly my point. u came up with 4, and besides chris johnson, none of them r clearly having a better year then ricky.

i say rice is having a rlly good year but between ricky, mjd, and benson, ricky is doing just as well with less carries then all of them.

this is such a moot point though, bc since the probowl is a week before the superbowl, none of our players will be playing in it.
