The Dolphins have expressed an interest in free agent guard Matt Lehr, who has helped pave the way for the Falcons' top-ranked rushing attack the past two seasons.

"Matt offers some versatility as he's played both guard positions and center," said Robert Lattinville, Lehr's agent. "He also has sponsorship in [Dolphins offensive coordinator Hudson Houck], who's familiar with Matt."

The 6-foot-2, 304-pound Lehr, 27, played for Houck in Dallas in 2001.

Finally some o-line news.
 
I recall him being a pretty good guard. He would be a great addition to this line. Alabi, Lehr, Hadnot, Shelton, Carey. Very Nice.
 
Good, it's about time we start targeting some OLmen. Also keep in mind that Lehr played under Houck a few years ago in Dallas.
 
I think that we signed Cory very quietly and he will defitnetly be an upgrade over Barnes. If we could sign Lehr I think he would defitnetly be an upgrade over James and he is also Young. I like how Mueller signs players with lots of potential that are very under rated. Hopefully we can sign this guy.

Yea he is only 27 yrs old. Now hurry before NE signs him to play WR.
 
i do remember him playing center as well as guard so that would be nice to get a g/c
 
O-line help would be appreciated, site i was at earlier said falcons coach petrino wants to go with a bigger line i'll have to research Lehr, was hoping to resign Fonoti (dont get to see many dolphins games in ohio but few i seen he filled in good and pancaked a fw dlinemen) or jacox
 
Can anybody do some research on this guy, he was part of pne of the best run blocking O-lines.
