Thats the biggest key.. if Mularky was going to be still calling the plays I would be quite upset. Since he is not, I'm not so bothered that he is staying on.
 
uggh, another season with mularkey...as long as he's not calling the plays I guess it doesn't really matter though
 
He probably just agreed to let Cam call the plays while he would take a smaller role in the offense. The only thing we really had a problem with (as far as I know) was his playcalling. He never seemed like a bad guy. Maybe he has some insight to bring to the table Its possible we wont hire a WR or TE coach and instead Mularkey will do things like that.
 
No big deal. Mularkey won't be calling the plays so him coming back doesn't hurt us at all.

Cam said he wants to groom someone to perhaps take over the play calling duties down the road. He also said he has the highest admiration for the Shula family and their coaching legacy. Mularky wants to stay in part because he has a son currently in high school in South Florida. My guess is that Mike Shula will join the Dolphins and eventually take over the OC position and be groomed by Cam.
 
Lets just hope he doesnt convince Cam to call a double reverse bootleg halfback pass whammy for a 2 point conversion.
 
Really surprised , but he is not calling plays so it is all good.
