I hate New England!

Once again, we end up with nothing. Oh well, maybe next year.
Not once again. Miami got two compensatory picks in last year's draft. This was expected after all the free agents we signed last offseason. With the way things have gone this offseason, we likely will be getting one or two picks in next year's draft.

I imagine we will get one next year... I pretty much knew we wouldnt be getting one this year, as we signed a boatload of free agents in Parcells' first offseason with the team.

Oops, my bad. We sure did, both Hilliard and Dotson were both compensatory picks.

no wonder the pats always win. the NFL gives them picks and lets them get away with cheating. i think it's now the New England Football League!!

Sorry I did not see this was already posted my bad .

wait so they get a free 3rd round pick?

WTF? thats got alot of value..

i thought compensatory picks were only in 7th round

The majority of the teams receiving those picks are some of the more elite ones in the NFL when it comes to drafting talent and generating a solid roster from 1 to 53: Baltimore, Tennessee, New England, San Diego, Dallas, etc. It'll be nice to see Miami up there eventually.

Compensatory Draft Picks

Once again the Dolphins receive zero picks and the Pats ended up with 3 or 4. I really dont get it I thought for sure we would get something for losing a starting corner, maybe our best corner.

this years compensatory picks are for last years free agent losses.

who did we lose last year? I honestly can't think of a single player off the top of my head. rex Hadnot? was he last year?

the Pats lost Asante Samuel....you knew that would bring back a top comp pick.
