Wow, I just realized they have Cason slipping all the way to #63. Can't see how we could pass on him at 2b.

Agreed on both accounts, and I also wouldn't mind the Cherilus pick either.
 
I like their old one better, but I wouldn't be too disappointed if it went like their new draft.
 
Cheris is a RT WHY THE HECK WOULD WE GET HIM?

U think BP will leave carey at LT? I HIGHLY DOUBT IT. Just b/c we need a TACKLE u dont force things upon ppl/team. thats how u end up wehre we are now 1 and 15. Carey at RT to be Great or carey at LT to be good? hmm go figure.
 
I would be happy with Cherilus, seems like a good, solid right tackle. Carey was decent on the left side of the line, another season and he may become one of the top fifteen in the league.

Unless we want to shell out the money for Flozell Adams, I'm not sure I see a LT with the potential to be great (Jake Long possibly). Carey has been shuffled quite a bit, so unless you just feel he doesn't fit at LT at all, or you think one of the T's in this draft can come in and be a better LT than Carey right now, I think you draft the best player left.

If that's Cherilus, so be it. You cite forcing things is how you end up 1-15, but it seems as though you're wanting to force something at LT instead. Your logic is not sound my friend...

I'm not endorsing, nor condemning the pick, but I just want us to focus on gettig solid football players that fit our scheme, and worry about the positions later. If a DT is the BPA, take him. If it's a G, take him. We have holes everywhere, and one draft and FA cycle isn't going to fill them all. So unless you think a quick fix idea is the best way to go, you lay a solid foundation and build this thing up to actually compete to win the Super Bowl, not just go to the playoffs. You see, this franchise has tried to quick fix, patch holes approach for far too long. And THAT, my friend, is how we ended up 1-15.
 
i love it! i have talkign about lofton for a few weeks now..this guy is a monster...he does it all and would be a great mlb for many years to come..i know he is small at 6'0 but zach was 5'11 and looked how he turned out...
 
Umm, I for one say HELL NO to this draft. Not because of who we get, but look at who they have going to the jets. I dont want McFadden in our division. I dont want Gholston in our Division either. So this mock gets a HELL NO from me.

cause even if we do move Carey (like it sounds like we'll do) many feel it will be to RG. I think Scott is also anticipating us signing Flozell Adams.

Though I'll admit, I like 1 and 2b, I still think we could do better than Cherilus
