[MERGED] OC Finally: Dan Henning appointed Offensive Coordinator

I dont believe this, I know someone very close to Henning and he hasnt told me anything of this sort.
 
This guy has been spot on with other coaching additions (if you are the same poster I am thinking of), so I buy it. But why Feb 9th or 10th? Why not today/tomorrow? And did Palmer pull himself out of the running, or did we decide not to pursue him?

I like Henning though. Not a bad idea. I just didnt want another Cam moment (i.e. not hiring an OC).
 
If this is true, I think it is a solid if unspectacular hire. I like the idea of having an oc that we don't have to worry about jumping to the next available hc position.
 
am I the only one that instantly shuddered when thinking about hiring another ex-Bills coach?

I thought we going after some giants coach.

Carolina OC from 02-06 and the Jets OC from 98-00. He must have been out of football last year because I couldnt find anything on him for 07
