MERGED: Paul Pasqualoni is rumored to be our new DC!

The quicker we get a full staff the better. Does anyone know more info about him, besides him being the former Syracuse coach.

If it is true we won't find out until next week because teams can't sign another teams assistant coaches to a position lesser then HC. It is something along those lines, Adam Schefter reported it.

Where did you hear this?

Per Wiki: Before becoming linebackers coach in 2006, Pasqualoni served as the Cowboys' coach of tight ends for the 2005 season, where he is credited for the continued development of Jason Witten leading to his second consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl.

I don't know much about this guy but this is an exciting time to be a fins fan

Looks like it probably won't happen until next week:

PFT: Cowboys secondary coach Todd Bowles is expected to leave to become the Dolphins' assistant head coach, and Cowboys linebackers coach Paul Pasqualoni is expected to become the Dolphins' defensive coordinator. Both Bowles and Pasqualoni first joined the Cowboys staff in 2005, when Bill Parcells was head coach, and both of those moves could be announced soon, although the Dolphins technically can't hire either until their contracts expire next week.

great news

I'm telling you.... this is going to be the best offseason, or at least the most interesting offseason we have ever seen.

If I didn't hate the Cowboys so much, I might feel bad for them. We're taking half their staff. Not to mention Jason Garrett and other staff members are being sought after by other teams. I wonder how it will affect them next season.
