Merged: Players quitting on the team

Anyone watching that game you could see some players have quit....and it will only get worse before it gets better. You can't keep telling players lies after each week and expect them to fall for it.
 
Who do you think they were all referring too? MacIntosh, JT, Gus, and Carter all said basically the same thing. Can't be about the RBs, they didn't even get touches. Perhaps the receivers?
 
good. i hope a few more quit, too. the film doesn't lie. they'll be taken out like the garbage they are. thanks again, dave.
 
As much as I'm fond of our receivers (my loyalties run Booker, McMichael, Welker, Chambers), I hope any of them who quit get run right out of town. I was on the road during the game, so I didn't see it. If anybody has a good idea about who we're talking about, I think it's time to name names.
 
Id like to suggest some of the posters who have quit on this team quit posting.
 
I was watching Chambers, and whenever the QB looked his way, it was thrown to him. He also kept blocking. On every pass that was catchable he gave an effort, so I don't think it was him who quit. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. Its time to break the D apart completley. Trade them for whatever(fair market value).
 
Accusations: Who Has Quit the Team?

I hereby charge these one-upon-a-time football players as quitters and therefore cancers on the team:

1) Sam Madison
2) Reggie Howard

Any other recommendations?

You mean all four returning starters (Zach, Jason, Junior, Sam)? Wow, that's a real change.

if you're talking about me, you're wrong... i don't believe suggesting solutions for improving is quitting... i watched every down today, and all season... i'm still a fan, but i think their formula for this season was badly flawed...

a quitter is someone who vows not to watch or root for them any longer... i would never do so... so get your facts straight...
 
I don't know about you, but our fourth Wide Receiver gets 1 deep pass thrown to him, and he stretches out and makes a heck of a play, while yet Booker got thrown too many passes today. Bryan Gilmore should start next week. Marty Booker has found his way to either the trade or cut block with his 3 million dollar salary. On a day where there weren't many passes, Marty got plenty, and he didn't make the plays. He didn't make a play.
