After Gus performace...

I think its a lock Tim Couch is gonna get a shot. This is a good thing , I think. Maybe.

Watch Couch end up being the Franchise QB for us we have been looking for since Marino left. :lol: How funny would that be.
 
We will not break 7 wins with our current Qb situation. Theres no question we have the worst Qb situation in football.
 
i think if we sign couch, he will just be yet another stop gap. at 29, hes in his prime, and could hang around for a few years and perform average at best (fiedler?)
 
Mmm...fumble returned for a TD. Maybe this year, Interceptions returned for a TD are replaced by fumbles returned for a TD. being sarcastic of course.

I belive this maybe why we are picked to finish last in our division. but i am not sold on our oline at all this mckinney he couldn't fine his way to sideline if you put a mile wide sign showing him the way.

Again, if we sign Couch he won't be in consideration for the starting spot this year.

He's just recovered from an injury, hasn't played in the NFL in over a year and knows squat about our offense.

Bringing in Couch is clearly a move for next year and he'd only be used in an absolute emergency.

Judging by the performance of our 2 guys 'competing' for the starting job, they dont know sqaut about playing QB at NFL levels.
 
Gus did not play bad!!!!!!!!!!! He alluded some pressure, he had some great passes. Booker, Randy, Chris all dropped passes that should have been caught. I only saw one bad pass on that INT out of bounds. AJ Feeley on the other hand. 1st and 10, 5 yard pass, TO, then 3 yards pass, TO 3 and 2. Get's the first down with 15 seconds left, has the team on the line with 5 seconds left and let's the clock run out.
