No ints and he hit on one long pass that should have been a TD and one that was one finger away from being one. Anyone who trashes the KC performance has an agenda and isnt worth listening to. Props Joey! Keep improving and the you're our starter from here on out

He did play well today. Based on his performance until today, I am withholding judgement to see if he can put together several more games where he has more TDs than INTs.

Great job today !!

He still has a few things to work on, such as his decision making and mechanics, but he IS improving every week. To me, Joey Harrington is like a rookie making progress every week. He looks like he's getting more familiar with the offense, and is somewhat turning into a "system" player on our offense.

Let's see how well he does against that weak Minnesota secondary [remember how effective the Patriots passing offense was against this secondary in Monday Night Football].

I hope he can help turn this season around. Our offense still hasn't showed up this season like we want it to be.

Agreed. Prior to today I hoped. Today was the first day where I was thinking this guy could be our guy

I'm not big on Joey..but compared to the other games today was his best game...he didn't make any glaring mistakes...he was calm in the pocket..he even ran the ball a few times which was nice to see. And I thought today he was more accurate at times then other games. I was happy with his performance today.
With that said I still don't think we'll go anywhere as long as he is QB but I'd love to be proven wrong...and right now he's all we got.

I agree, decent game, it seemed like he was trying to manage and play smart and avoid mistakes. Mission Accomplished. :cooldude:

People expect a new QB to just light things up and throw long bombs every drive - First, we wasted the whole Camp and pre-season by allowing Culpooper to practice with Chambers, not Joey ... and 2nd I am not sure that Mularkey is the type of OC who really wants to stretch the field. Mularkey seems to plan more sideline to sideline. Still a spread Offense but he wants ball control, behind a strong running game. Just enough deep shots to keep the D honest.

Yep, definetly Joey's best game. I'm frustrated about scoring 0 points in the 2nd half, but . . . and I have preached this . . he managed the game well. He threw the ball away, he scrambled . . . only a few forced throws and most importantly 0 INT's. I'm glad to see he is progressing week to week. I hope he keeps it up.

I thought Harrington played a decent game today. Not great but good. KC has a decent defense and our offense managed to stay in control of the ball pretty well, especially in the first half. The turnover on the reverse made it a lot closer than it should have been, but those things happen sometimes.

LOL I've been saying this for a couple weeks now, was more hoping but after the Bears game seeing all the pressure he had to deal with and still put the points on the board it felt like there was finally some chemistry. Today was a great game for Joey and I still agree, as long as he continues to improve and doesn't regress he has my unflailing support :D

Now all we need is to get rid of Mularkey cus that was some BS playcalling in the second half

Couple Joey Harrington with Ronnie AND Ricky in the backfield and we're going to the playoffs baby!!!

Yikes, who thought NOT throwing an INT would be considered a great game. I am sorry, but he just strikes me as another Jay Fiedler without the mobility, or leadership qualities Jay had. He should have been picked off at least twice today on his deep balls because he underthrew to his receivers. PLUS, there were times they were open and he just overthrew them terribly.

That slant play on 3rd down to Booker should have been completed but he airmailed to the endzone for some reason.

Joey didn't cost us the game (obviously) but he didn't do much to win it for us either. The only real nice passes I saw were one to Welker down the middle (it was a nice, frozen rope) and another to Justin Peelle (that I initially thought was a Ronnie Brown overthrow). Other than that, he looked how he always does, average at best, terrible at worst.

Mularkey needs to be tested for drugs cause I was sure he was on LSD on a couple of those calls
