Merged: Ramsey to visit Miami!/Ramsey given permission to talk to Fins

I hope we don't sign him. There is a reason he is getting let go because he sucks.......Brees should be our focus. I would love to see Ramsey go to the Jets, then all their QBs would suck!!!!

I honestly could see Ramsey going to the Jets if they trade with Houston and take Bush #1 overall. Ramsey's best chance of being a starter is with the Jets, the Lions will not give up on Harrington and Miami has a Brees.

If I'm not mistaken, the Redskins gave them the go to seek a trade about a month ago.

At least we're looking at QBs finally. I don't remember one offseason where getting a qb was a serious priority under Wanny. Thank God that we had that 4-12 season a year ago.

i forgot they got jason campbell, i think he could be good man....... kid had some skills......... as for ramsey, finally they are seeing that he is not going to get traded for a first day pick, he's a late second day draft pick at best

The Jets are shopping Abraham as part of a package to move up. Nobody wants him so I don't see the Jets moving up.

Atlanta and Denver are talking about trading their first for John Abraham.

The Broncos have shown interest, and we don't know what houston will take. Normally a trade on a high draft pick doesn't happen until the draft every team wants to keep their options open until the last possible second.

The 'Skins have been shopping Ramsey during the past month for a second round pick. Having no real bites, this recent development allows Ramsey to pick the team he wants to be traded to. It also signifies the "Skins have lowered their asking price by taking the best offer.

It's good for the team we don't lock ourselves onto one player, at least in the eyes of everyone outside the organization. By putting all our eggs in one basket, so to speak, we limit our options should things not work out the way we want them to. So it's best that we keep every option open. The more names I hear tied to the Fins the better.
